How to Join
How do I join?
Ask yourself whether you have the commitment for the BYC
- we only want you if you are passionate about God.
Get in contact with your local youth worker, vicar or area
Dean
(contact details printed later) and talk to him/her about it.
 Pray about it.
Use the application at the centre of this booklet, or email
the Chair,
Lois Smith for an application form or download it from the BYC
section of
www.b-inspired.net
Send the completed form back to Lois; it will then be looked
at by the Chair,
the Vice-Chair, the Bishop's Advisor for Youth Ministry and the
Bishop. It will be
prayed about and we will also get in touch with your area dean and
vicar.
We will get in touch with you as soon as we have reached a
decision.
We will also get a reference from your Vicar or
Youthworker.
This may seem scary - but it really isn't! We want the best youth
council possible so we can
represent the young people of Birmingham to the best of our
ability.
